Robinhood Releases New Contract Predicting Ethereum Price in 2026

The cryptocurrency market is abuzz with the release of a new contract on Robinhood's Crypto Prediction Market. The contract, which resolves on July 9, 2026 at 2pm EDT, asks one question: what will be the price of Ethereum (ETH) at that time?

According to CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), 60 prices are collected in the minute leading up to the contract's expiration. The official and final value is then determined by taking the average of these prices.

Traders who correctly predict the ETH price at the designated time will receive a payout of $1 for every contract they own. However, those with material non-public information about Ethereum are not permitted to trade on this contract.
