Sui Co-Founder Outlines Bold Path to Billions in Blockchain Adoption
SUI Co-Founder Adeniyi Abiodun has outlined three key infrastructure upgrades that he believes can bring billions of users on-chain by 2026. The upgrades are designed to make blockchain usage more accessible and user-friendly.
The first upgrade is zkLogin, a feature that allows users to sign in using web2 identities such as Google or Apple without having to keep track of their seed phrases. This eliminates the need for users to manage complex wallets and keys.
Abiodun also emphasized the importance of gasless transactions, where dApps or sponsors cover fees, making it easier for new users to onboard. The combination of zkLogin and gasless transactions can help prevent loss during wallet creation and the first user experience.
The third element is private stablecoin payments, which could attract enterprises that require a level of compliance and confidentiality. This reflects the industry's drive toward tokenized dollars and payment solutions, where different networks differentiate themselves by speed, cost, and privacy.
