DeFi United Program Sees Surge in Participation with $161 Million ETH Contribution

The DeFi United program has gained momentum with the participation of 14 individuals and ecosystem contributors. According to monitoring data from Lookonchain, these participants have collectively contributed a substantial amount of 69,642 ETH.

This total is valued at approximately $161 million in USD. Notably, Aave, a lending platform affected by the rsETH incident, has made a significant contribution of 25,000 ETH ($57.75 million) to cover bad debts.

The DeFi United program was established to address the bad debt shortfall of 75,081 ETH. This initiative aims to provide aid funds to help fill this gap, and it is heartening to see various participants coming together to support this cause.
