OSL Indonesia Launches Tokenized Gold Rewards Program

OSL Indonesia, a centralized crypto exchange operating in Indonesia under the supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), has introduced the Launchpool XAUT program. This initiative allows users to earn rewards in the form of tokenized gold, which is backed by physical gold stored in a London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) standard facility in Switzerland.

The program enables users to allocate their assets and obtain XAUT rewards proportionally without any participation fees. The rewards can be claimed directly to the user's wallet during the program period. According to OSL Indonesia CEO Iqbal Wan, the launch of Launchpool XAUT is a strategic step for the company in bringing institutional-standard real asset-based investment products to users in Indonesia.

The collaboration with global Web3 projects such as Tether is also part of OSL's efforts to encourage the development of the Web3 ecosystem in Indonesia. The launch of this program aligns with the growing interest of Indonesian investors in crypto assets based on real underlying assets or Real World Assets (RWA).

Going forward, OSL Indonesia aims to present various blockchain-based investment products connected to real assets, including gold, to expand public access to digital investment instruments.
