Oobit Freezes EURR Funds After StablR Security Incident

Oobit has confirmed that a portion of EURR funds related to the recent StablR security incident have been frozen. This action was taken by the platform's compliance team after they detected abnormal activity in an attempt to withdraw approximately $1 million from the affected wallet.

According to reports, the issue arose when 'on-chain detective' ZachXBT revealed a vulnerability attack on two of StablR's smart contracts. The incident involved around $13.5 million and led to related funds attempting to exit via Oobit. However, due to Oobit's swift response, no user funds were compromised.

Oobit has stated that its systems remained unaffected during the incident and is now working with StablR and investigators to follow up on subsequent handling. The company has also clarified that it will continue to cooperate with relevant parties to address any potential issues arising from this security breach.
