Global Crypto ETFs See First Net Outflows in Two Months

Global crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced their first net outflows in two months in May, according to data from KuCoin. The total value of assets under management declined by $17.6 billion to $141.1 billion.

The majority of the outflows came from U.S.-listed products, which accounted for 84.5% of global assets under management at the end of May and saw a net withdrawal of $2.37 billion.

Bitcoin and Ethereum-focused funds were among those that faced redemptions, while altcoins like XRP, Solana, and Hyperliquid attracted net inflows. Yield-generating and staking products also drew capital, including the NEOS Bitcoin High Income ETF and Bitwise Solana Staking ETF.
