MoneyGram Joins Solana Network as Active Validator

MoneyGram, a global payments company, has become an active validator on the Solana network. The move is part of its deepening commitment to blockchain-based financial infrastructure.

As a validator, MoneyGram will contribute to the security, integrity, and performance of the Solana proof-of-stake network by staking SOL, processing transaction blocks, and participating in consensus at the protocol level.

This positions MoneyGram alongside other institutional players helping to underpin one of the world's highest-performing blockchains.

Luke Tuttle, Chief Product and Technology Officer at MoneyGram, emphasized the importance of this role: 'We help run the rails we move money on.'
