Tron Founder Justin Sun Sued by World Liberty Financial Over Defamation Claims

A new development has emerged in the ongoing feud between Tron founder Justin Sun and World Liberty Financial, a crypto platform linked to the family of US President Donald Trump.

According to court documents, World Liberty Financial has filed a defamation lawsuit against Sun in Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. The lawsuit alleges that Sun made false public statements about World Liberty and violated the terms of the WLFI token sale by engaging in prohibited transfers, short selling, and straw purchases.

The lawsuit also seeks a court-ordered retraction and compensation from Sun. This latest move has escalated tensions between Sun and World Liberty Financial, which have been locked in a governance dispute for several months.
