The announcement was made through the official Pudgy Party X account on June 12, stating that all resources would be redirected to Pudgy World. The decision comes after the launch of Pudgy World in March 2026, which has been gaining popularity with its customizable avatars and plot-based quests.

The PENGU token saw a 9% increase on Pudgy World's launch day and is currently trading at $0.006793 with a market cap of approximately $427 million. The NFT collection starting at 4.54 ETH has also seen significant interest, with 5,100 unique holders across the 8,888-piece collection.
