Grayscale Files Registration Filing for Worldcoin ETF

Grayscale has submitted an S1 registration filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its proposed Worldcoin ETF. The name of the ETF is Grayscale Worldcoin ETF, with a ticker symbol GWLD. This filing marks a step towards listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

The ETF aims to track the value of Worldcoin (WLD), with expenses and other liabilities deducted from its net asset value. It will provide investors with exposure to WLD without directly holding the underlying cryptocurrency.

Grayscale has appointed CSC Delaware Trust Company as the trustee, BNY Mellon as the administrative agent and recordkeeper, and BitGo Bank & Trust as the custodian for Worldcoin. The World Foundation manages the network protocol and WLD token.
