The deadline for cryptocurrency exchanges in Europe to obtain MiCA licenses has passed. This regulation aims to bring transparency, user protection, and oversight to the European crypto market.

Exchanges that have received MiCA approval include Coinbase, Crypto.com, Gate, OKX, Kraken, Bitstamp, Bybit, Backpack, Bitvavo, Bit2Me, Revolut, Bitpanda, Blockchain.com, Robinhood, eToro, Swissquote, MoonPay, and Strike.

Exchanges that have not received MiCA approval, such as Binance, are starting to suspend services for European users or impose restrictions on their operations.
