Cryptocurrency Market's Frustrating Phase: Awaiting Institutional Adoption
The cryptocurrency market has been going through one of its most frustrating phases for retail investors. Despite positive regulatory developments, major digital assets have responded with apathy. Analyst Oscar Ramos argues that this is due to institutional dynamics and macroeconomic conditions rather than structural weakness in the crypto ecosystem.
Ramos points out that recent developments, such as the CLARITY Act and GENIUS Act, have created a perfect storm for a massive rally. However, markets reacted in the opposite direction, with Bitcoin losing the $82,000 level and XRP pulling back after briefly reaching local highs near $1.56.
According to Ramos, large institutions and hedge funds typically position themselves long before positive news becomes official. By the time retail investors enter the market driven by excitement, major players often use that incoming liquidity to take profits.
