Ethereum Climbs Back into Top 100 Global Assets by Market Cap
Ethereum has reclaimed its spot among the top 100 global assets by market capitalization, ranking between 93rd and 95th with a market cap of approximately $215 billion to $216 billion.
This milestone marks a significant recovery for ETH, which had slipped below this threshold in late June when its market cap hovered around $192 billion to $197 billion. The token is currently trading near $1,785 to $1,793 as of early July 2026.
Ethereum's return to the top 100 assets is a notable achievement, considering it first broke into this group in January 2021 when its market cap reached approximately $132 billion and it landed at rank 97. The current climb is also attributed to a broader crypto market uplift that has carried both Bitcoin and Ethereum higher.
Ethereum remains the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, with roughly 120.68 million ETH tokens in circulation as of July 3-4, 2026.
