Singapore Court Intervenes in Curve Finance Dispute Over Resupply Exploit
A recent dispute between Curve Finance and its contributors has reached a milestone in Singapore's courts. Two individuals have been ordered to stop harassing Haowi Wong, a contributor to Curve Finance, following an exploit of stablecoin lending protocol Resupply in June.
The exploit cost users $9.3 million, with some online statements accusing Curve of direct responsibility and levelling personal accusations against Wong. The dispute involved multiple online statements issued on X and in private group chats, leading to a months-long feud within the Chinese-speaking crypto community.
According to court documents, Singapore's Protection from Harassment Court has ordered Wang Lei, also known as Yishi, and the pseudonymous user behind X account @web3feng to stop making threatening or abusive statements about Wong. The two respondents did not appear in court and have yet to comment.
