Chainlink Sees Record Wallet Growth Amid Whale Accumulation
Chainlink's wallet growth has seen significant increases in 2026, with the two highest days of new wallet creation surpassing 3,000 each. This trend indicates strong demand and adoption momentum for Chainlink's network.
The number of non-micro wallets holding at least 1 LINK has risen to about 535,000, a level not seen since December 2022. Additionally, large holders or 'whales' are increasing their positions, with wallets holding over 100,000 LINK reaching an all-time high of 805 in May 2026.
Despite a quarterly token unlock releasing 21 million LINK in June, wallet growth continued, suggesting that investors remain confident in Chainlink's prospects. This confidence is also reflected in the price, which has held above $7.20 support despite volatility and crypto options expiry pressure.
