US Commodity Futures Trading Commission Establishes Innovation Task Force

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission has taken another step towards regulating the burgeoning cryptocurrency market by establishing an Innovation Task Force. This new unit will focus on developing comprehensive regulatory guidelines for cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence technologies, and prediction markets.

According to CFTC Chairman Michael Selig, the task force will create a direct communication channel between industry innovators and federal regulators, allowing for more efficient and effective regulation of digital assets.
