South Korean Influencer Predicts XRP Will Reach $100 Per Token

A South Korean social media influencer has made bold predictions for the XRP cryptocurrency, stating that it will reach a price of $100 per token. YoungHoon Kim, who claims to hold the world's highest IQ at 276, made the prediction on the platform X, declaring himself the 'Son of XRP.' This move is seen as significant, given that XRP was trading at $2.13 at the time of his posts.

Kim's predictions also include a claim that crypto is about to explode and that altseason has arrived. However, his past forecasts have been met with skepticism, particularly with regards to his predicted price targets for Bitcoin (BTC). In January 2026, Kim forecasted BTC would reach $100,000 within 48 hours but missed entirely, as the price dropped from $93,747 to close at $91,099.

Experts have questioned the validity of Kim's claimed IQ score of 276. While he claims that this is based on a standard deviation of 24, which equates to 210 on the more common SD15 scale, experts have argued that this figure may not be accurate. Chris Leek of Mensa has called attempts to extrapolate 276 'a nonsense,' and Australian psychometrician Jason Betts estimated Kim's actual score did not exceed 175.
