Bitvavo Transfers $32.6M in Chainlink from Coinbase Prime
Dutch exchange Bitvavo has transferred $32.6 million worth of Chainlink (LINK) tokens from Coinbase Prime, according to on-chain data. The transfer was detected by blockchain tracking services and shows a significant portion of Bitvavo's known LINK holdings moving to a newly created address.
The receiving address had previously been inactive, suggesting that it may be used for internal treasury management or long-term holding of the tokens. This move is often seen as a bullish signal in the market, indicating an intent to hold rather than sell.
Chainlink is a prominent oracle network token, and large movements by exchanges can influence market liquidity and sentiment. While Bitvavo has not publicly commented on the transaction, similar moves by other platforms have historically preceded staking integrations or enhanced security protocols.
