Hana Financial Group Partners with Standard Chartered on Digital Assets
Hana Financial Group, a major South Korean financial conglomerate, has joined forces with Standard Chartered to explore the potential of digital assets. The partnership will allow the two companies to combine their global networks and financial expertise to expand their presence in traditional finance.
The collaboration marks a significant step forward for both institutions as they seek to tap into the growing demand for blockchain-based financial services. Hana has been actively involved in digital asset markets, having partnered with KB Financial Group and Shinhan Financial Group to develop stablecoin infrastructure.
Standard Chartered, meanwhile, has launched products tied to crypto ETFs and has ventured into regulated digital asset custody. The partnership will enable the two companies to explore joint initiatives in digital finance, including potential work around stablecoins.
