IG Europe Expands Crypto Presence with Bitpanda Partnership

IG Europe has taken a significant step in expanding its presence in the European market by partnering with Bitpanda to offer crypto trading services to its client base. This move follows the company's launch of spot crypto trading in the UK in 2025, which marked a major milestone for IG.

The partnership allows IG to tap into Bitpanda's infrastructure and expertise, enabling it to provide high-quality and secure crypto trading services to its clients across Europe without having to build the necessary infrastructure from scratch. This approach is particularly appealing given the stringent regulations surrounding crypto services in the EU, which are enforced through the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).

IG's Managing Director for Europe, Esteve Jane, highlighted the benefits of this partnership, stating that it enables IG to offer its clients a wider range of asset classes while maintaining the quality and security they expect.
