Bitget Unshackles Retail Investors from Market Data Fees

Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has made professional US stock market data available to its eligible users at no additional cost. The platform now offers free Level 2 market data for US stocks, a feature typically associated with professional trading desks and institutional participants due to the high licensing costs of exchange data.

The move allows eligible Bitget users who qualify for VIP 1 through trading volume or VIP 3 through asset holdings to access up to 40 levels of bid and ask depth, depth charts, and real-time trade information across US pre-market, regular trading hours, after-hours, and overnight sessions. This level of market intelligence was previously only available to a select few.

The feature provides access to Nasdaq TotalView and Blue Ocean market data feeds, which were previously reserved for institutional investors due to the high costs involved in subscription fees. Bitget estimates that eligible users can save up to $276 annually compared to traditional market data subscriptions.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said: 'Crypto makes financial opportunities more open and accessible.' She added: 'In traditional markets, data and insights come at a premium. We're eradicating that by making professional-grade stock market data available to our users, who can now access tools that were once limited to a small segment of the market.'

This move is part of Bitget's Universal Exchange vision, where crypto assets and tokenized financial instruments live together within a unified trading environment. By combining professional-grade market infrastructure with multi-asset access, Bitget aims to create a seamless trading experience for its users.
