MoonPay Expands Crypto Deposit Infrastructure with Glide Acquisition

MoonPay has acquired Glide, a crypto infrastructure startup founded by former Robinhood Wallet engineers. This acquisition will enable MoonPay to expand its cross-chain crypto deposit infrastructure.

Glide was established in 2023 by Tushar Soni and Qinyu Tong, who previously worked on the team behind Robinhood Wallet. The company's mission is to facilitate applications in accepting deposits from various tokens, wallets, exchanges, and payment sources.

MoonPay's acquisition of Glide aims to enhance its capabilities beyond its original crypto payments business. With this move, MoonPay aspires to become a digital asset infrastructure provider.
