Crypto Market Sees Multiple Token Unlocks in Third Week of March

The upcoming token unlocks in the crypto market are set to bring significant changes in the third week of March. According to available data, multiple major projects, including LayerZero (ZRO), Lombard (BARD), and River (RIVER), will release substantial amounts of new tokens.

These unlock events have the potential to impact market volatility and price movements in the short term. As such, investors should pay close attention to the following key releases:

On March 18, Lombard Protocol will unlock 30 million BARDs worth approximately $32.43 million, equivalent to 11.09% of the circulating supply. This token allocation will be split into two parts: 15 million tokens for season 1 airdrop and another 15 million tokens for season 2.

LayerZero is set to unlock 25.71 million ZRO on March 20, with an estimated value of around $55.53 million. This represents 5.64% of the released supply. Of these unlocked tokens, 13.42 million will be allocated to strategic partners, while core contributors will receive 10.63 million ZRO.

Lastly, on March 22, River Protocol will unlock 1.11 million RIVER with a value of approximately $25.47 million, equivalent to 2.39% of the released supply. All of these unlocked tokens will be allocated to the ecosystem foundation.
