Bitcoin Eyes $65K as Altcoin Gains Mount

Bitcoin's (BTC) weekend climb continues as it inches closer to $65,000. The price has been steadily increasing since Thursday, reaching almost $65,000 earlier today, but still remains below that key level.

The larger-cap altcoins have seen little movement over the past 24 hours, so focus is on their weekly performance. Zcash (ZEC) and Litecoin (LTC) are among those with notable gains, along with ONDO and Crypto.com's native token (CRO).

Ethereum (ETH) has dropped by nearly $100 since its peak earlier this week but still holds a 4.2% gain over the past week.

Hype (HYPE), on the other hand, has plummeted by more than 9%, but has managed to defend its $60 support level.
