China Posts Record $125.62B Trade Surplus as Crypto Markets Remain Unfazed

Meanwhile, China has reported a substantial trade surplus of $125.62 billion for June, with exports rising by 20.8% and imports growing by 29.4% compared to the same month last year.
This marks a notable increase from May's surplus of $105.43 billion and continues a trend that saw China accumulate around $1.2 trillion in total trade surplus for the full year of 2025, driven by $3.8 trillion in exports.
The cumulative trade surplus for the first half of 2026 is approximately $451.71 billion, which is slightly down from $471.9 billion during the same period in 2025.
