Bitcoin Surges as Trump Announces Peace Deal with Iran
Bitcoin (BTC) prices surged on June 11, 2026, after President Donald Trump announced a peace agreement between the United States and Iran. The cryptocurrency's value increased by 3% to $63,450.18, breaking back above the $63,000 threshold.
The news came after weeks of downward pressure stemming from Middle Eastern geopolitical turmoil, with BTC previously dropping to $59,000 amid escalating tensions. Trump revealed in a Truth Social post that he had called off planned military operations targeting Iran and suggested an official ceremony could take place in Europe within the coming days.
Ali Charts, a technical analyst, identified a symmetrical triangle formation on Bitcoin's chart, with key levels at $63,000 resistance and $61,000 support. The analyst noted that a decisive hourly close outside of this range could trigger a 10% price expansion as momentum unlocks.
