Metaplanet Boosts Bitcoin Holdings with $234 Million Fundraising

Metaplanet has introduced a significant new avenue for Bitcoin investment with the launch of 100 million Moving Strike Warrants. This financial instrument is expected to generate approximately $234 million, with the proceeds dedicated solely to acquiring additional Bitcoin.

The warrants are structured in a way that ensures new shares are issued only when the market values the company above its Bitcoin reserves, aligning capital raises with the interests of shareholders.

This move injects fresh capital into the cryptocurrency market and cements Metaplanet's position as a leading institutional accumulator of BTC. The company will bolster its existing Bitcoin reserves, which already total around 35,100 BTC.
