Coinbase Unifies Finance with Major System Update

Coinbase has rolled out a major system update, incorporating dozens of new features that bring traditional finance and cryptocurrency under one roof. The platform's three main pillars are more assets to trade, smarter trading tools, and deeper financial services.

A notable addition is the Travel Portal, which offers 5% Bitcoin back on every booking through the Coinbase One Card. This eliminates the need for loyalty points that can expire or lose value over time, according to Coinbase.

The company has also introduced USDC-backed access to the Coinbase One Card for users without traditional credit approval, allowing them to secure a card using USDC as collateral and earn rewards on everyday purchases.

Coinbase Advisor, an SEC-registered AI-powered investment advisor, is now available exclusively to Coinbase One members. The platform has also launched Coinbase for Agents, which lets users deploy AI agents to execute trading strategies across spot and derivatives using natural language instructions.
