BlackRock CEO Forecasts $20 Trillion Tokenisation Market by 2030

Tokenisation, the process of converting traditional financial assets into digital tokens on a blockchain, is gaining momentum in the investment world.

Fink believes that tokenisation can increase investor participation by making it easier for people to invest in the stock market. He points out that half of Americans are not invested in public markets, but with the rise of digital wallets on smartphones, investing could become more accessible.

The technology also has the potential to reduce overhead costs and increase transaction speeds. However, regulatory hurdles remain a key challenge for the growth of tokenisation.
