Raiku Introduces Solana's First Liquid Staking Token with Blockspace Revenue Yield
Raiku has entered the liquid staking market on Solana with $rkuSOL, a novel approach that incorporates blockspace revenue as a yield source. This marks a departure from traditional liquid staking tokens (LSTs) that rely solely on staking rewards and miner extractable value (MEV).
The launch of $rkuSOL is built upon Raiku's infrastructure startup, founded by Robin Nordnes. The company has secured $13.5 million in funding from investors like Pantera Capital and Jump Crypto. This backing will support the development of block inclusion technology and a blockspace marketplace.
The $rkuSOL token integrates with Sanctum for deposits and boasts liquidity partnerships with Kamino, Loopscale, and Exponent. Early on-chain data indicates low trading volume post-launch, but Raiku's vision for the liquid staking market is gaining traction.
