OKX Expands Real-World Asset Exposure with Equity Perpetual Swap Contracts

OKX has expanded its offerings with the launch of over 20 equity perpetual swap contracts. These contracts enable users to trade major global stocks using crypto as collateral, providing a new way for investors to access real-world assets.

The contracts cover the 'Magnificent 7' stocks, including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta. Additionally, OKX has included other notable companies like Strategy, Coinbase, Robinhood, and Circle in its offerings. Technology stocks such as Palantir, Intel, Micron, and SanDisk are also available for trading.

The equity perpetual swap contracts are denominated in USDT and offer up to 5x leverage, allowing traders to respond to market-moving events even when traditional equity markets are closed. Unlike tokenized equities that represent actual shares, these derivatives track price movements without granting ownership, placing them closer to synthetic exposure products offered by other exchanges.
