Cryptocurrency Market Shifts Towards Traditional Stock-Market-Style Structure
The cryptocurrency market is undergoing significant changes, shifting towards a more traditional stock-market-style structure.
According to an analysis by TVBee, the rise in total market capitalization has not translated into uniform price gains across individual tokens due to a crowded pipeline meeting thinner secondary liquidity. The report suggests that venture capital funding remained active in 2025, but at a more measured pace, with about 75 projects receiving funding each month.
This shift is reflected in the increasing overlap between Web3 and large technology or financial firms, with companies like Google, IBM, and Nomura Securities participating in various projects. The analysis also points to Binance's market-maker rules as evidence of a more regulated structure, where exchanges play a larger role in shaping conduct.
