A recent investigation has shed light on alleged insider trading activities at Axiom Exchange, a prominent cryptocurrency trading platform.
The accusations center around Broox Bauer, a senior business development employee at Axiom Exchange. According to ZachXBT, a well-known onchain sleuth, Bauer used internal access controls to track user wallets and shared sensitive information with associates to execute trades.
ZachXBT claims that Bauer described how he could use the internal dashboards to look up sensitive user information, including wallet addresses, transaction histories, and linked accounts. The investigation also alleges that Bauer shared screenshots of private wallet data belonging to specific traders, which were then used to create a Google Sheet mapping wallets obtained via internal access.
Axiom Exchange has responded to the allegations, stating they have removed access to the tools and will investigate further. The company emphasized that this incident does not represent their values or policies, which prioritize user confidentiality and security.
