DTCC Partners with Stellar to Bring Tokenized Securities to Blockchain

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has announced plans to connect its tokenized securities platform to the Stellar network by 2027.

DTCC is one of the most important institutions in global finance, clearing between $2.5 quadrillion and $4 quadrillion annually.

This move could have a significant impact on XRP and XLM, as it would bring tokenized versions of securities onto blockchain infrastructure, including traditional financial assets such as Russell 1000 stocks, exchange-traded funds, and U.S. Treasuries.
