Gematria Calculation Sparks Debate About XRP's Value Relative to BTC and ETH

The cryptocurrency market is known for its bold claims and predictions, but one recent post has taken the cake. Crypto commentator Bird presented a gematria-based calculation that suggests XRP equals the combined value of Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The calculation uses an alphabetical formula where each letter corresponds to its position in the alphabet, from A=1 to Z=26. Under this system, BTC equals 25 (B=2, T=20, C=3), ETH equals 33 (E=5, T=20, H=8), and XRP also equals 58 (X=24, R=18, P=16).

However, experts argue that this calculation is symbolic and does not determine market dominance. While the arithmetic aligns perfectly, financial markets operate on measurable fundamentals such as adoption rates, institutional capital flows, technological upgrades, and regulatory clarity.
