Bitmine Adds $50 Million to Ethereum Holdings, Boosts Staking Activities

Bitmine, a leading cryptocurrency mining and investment firm, has made a significant purchase of Ethereum (ETH) by acquiring an additional 27,801 units valued at approximately $50.04 million.

This acquisition brings Bitmine's total Ethereum holdings to 5.77 million ETH as of July 12, making it one of the largest institutional holders of Ether globally.

The company has disclosed that 4.917 million ETH, or roughly 85%, of its total holdings is currently staked, generating yield through Ethereum's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
