Bitnomial Expands US Crypto Futures Offerings with Injective Contracts
Bitnomial, a Chicago-based crypto exchange, has expanded its offerings with the launch of monthly futures contracts tied to Injective's native token. This development marks a significant milestone for the Web3 financial ecosystem as it gains access to a US-regulated derivatives product.
The new contracts allow traders to gain price exposure without holding the underlying asset and can be margined in crypto or US dollars through Bitnomial's clearinghouse. The listing is also expected to support the creation of a spot exchange-traded fund under US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) listing rules, which could be facilitated by a six-month track record.
Bitnomial's move into Injective futures follows its previous launch of monthly futures contracts tied to Aptos in January. The company plans to add perpetual futures and options tied to INJ in the coming months, further expanding its offerings.
