Meta Expands Stablecoin Options for Creators on Solana and Polygon

Meta has announced a new initiative to provide stablecoin payouts for creators on two blockchain networks, Solana and Polygon. This move marks a significant step in the tech giant's return to the stablecoin space after its previous attempts were met with regulatory pushback.

The USDC stablecoin payout feature is currently live in Colombia and the Philippines, with payments processed through Stripe. Creators who opt for this option will enter their crypto wallet address directly into Facebook's payout platform, but are responsible for securing their own wallet credentials and converting the USDC to local currencies.
