Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has left the US market since 2023 but has not ruled out a potential return.
In an interview with CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Co-CEO Richard Teng stated that Binance is taking a 'wait and see' approach regarding its future plans for re-entering the US market. This approach suggests that the company is waiting for regulatory clarity before making any decisions.
The company has been successful in other markets where regulations are clear and consistent, with over 300 million users globally and an additional 60 million new sign-ups per year. However, it remains unavailable in several countries including the US due to unclear regulations.
