Robinhood Enters Traditional Asset Blockchain with Robinhood Chain

Ryan Cignoni, Robinhood's Co-Founder and Chief Architect, announced that the company is launching its Ethereum Layer 2 solution called Robinhood Chain. This new platform uses Arbitrum, a popular Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum.

The main goal of Robinhood Chain is to bring stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets onto the blockchain. By doing so, it aims to expand tokenized finance beyond cryptocurrency.

This move could potentially lead to increased adoption of traditional assets on the blockchain.
