Coinbase Unleashes AI Advisor, Stock Options, and Pre-IPO Markets

Coinbase is expanding its services to become an 'everything exchange' by introducing stock options, pre-IPO markets, and AI advisor tools.

The company will offer trading in U.S. stocks, ETFs, and indexes through Coinbase Advanced, as well as options for both cryptocurrencies and equities.

Coinbase is also launching tokenized stocks backed one-for-one by underlying U.S. equities and introducing perpetual futures tied to thematic baskets such as artificial intelligence and defense.

The exchange is betting on AI with its SEC-registered Coinbase Advisor tool, which provides portfolio recommendations, tax-loss harvesting guidance, and market analysis.
