Bermuda Pioneers Stablecoin-Based Payments on Stellar Blockchain

Bermuda is taking a significant step towards becoming the world's first fully on-chain national economy by piloting stablecoin-based payments on the Stellar blockchain.

As part of its digital asset strategy, the government is working with financial institutions to integrate tokenization tools and residents will be able to transact using digital wallets. This move aims to reduce transaction costs, increase access to global finance, and keep economic value circulating locally.
