Bitwise's Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Matt Hougan predicts that the next bull cycle in the cryptocurrency market will be slower and less volatile compared to previous cycles.
Hougan attributes this shift to the growing interest in technology trends beyond cryptocurrencies, such as artificial intelligence, among Wall Street investors.
Despite this, he notes that interest in Bitcoin and digital assets remains at historical levels among registered investment advisors (RIAs) and institutional investors in the US.
Hougan reiterates his long-term optimistic view that Bitcoin will surpass the $1 million mark within the next 10 years.
