Eisenberg Denies Threatening Aave Amid Ongoing DeFi Controversy
A recent development in the cryptocurrency space has reignited debate over the line between responsible disclosure and malicious intent. Avi Eisenberg, a trader with a history of involvement in high-profile exploits, has denied threatening to attack Aave.
In 2022, Eisenberg was convicted of exploiting Mango Markets for $110 million. He claims that his actions at the time were part of responsible disclosure, after privately notifying the team about potential risks and then publicly disclosing them when they chose not to act.
A recent transaction signature associated with Eisenberg's wallet has sparked renewed speculation about his intentions. However, it appears that no fresh exploit activity has surfaced beyond the flagged signature.
