BIT Official Sees Bullish Sentiment as Bitcoin Implied Volatility Recovers
Bitcoin's (BTC) market sentiment has shown signs of improvement, according to recent data from BIT Official. The implied volatility of Bitcoin and Ethereum has recovered after dropping significantly in July. This recovery is attributed to accelerating demand for call options, which could signal a potential end to the summer market slump.
Several large call option trades have appeared on the market in recent times. Bitcoin's implied volatility has rebounded from 31% to 36%, indicating a shift towards more optimistic market sentiment. Analysts had earlier recommended selling volatility due to anticipated consolidation, but they adjusted their stance last week after observing positive changes in options positioning and market mood.
August and September are typically considered seasonally weak periods for the cryptocurrency market. However, analysts believe that this recent improvement could provide support for Bitcoin even during these months. The shift towards more bullish sentiment is seen as a key factor in determining future price movements.
