OKX Enhances Institutional Trading Capabilities with BitGo Integration
OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the integration of BitGo's custody infrastructure into its platform. This development allows institutional clients to trade on OKX without having to transfer their assets from regulated custodians, reducing counterparty risk and improving capital efficiency.
The integration is part of OKX's efforts to build out its institutional stack, which includes custody, compliance, and execution services. By combining internal systems with external custody providers like BitGo, OKX aims to create more flexible operating models for institutions.
According to Roshan Robert, CEO of OKX U.S., the integration with BitGo gives clients flexibility in how they protect assets while freeing capital to work harder. This combination of internal rigor and best-in-class external partners is what builds durable trust with sophisticated clients.
