Ripple, a leading player in the cryptocurrency space, has seen its XRP holdings in spendable wallets reach new heights. The company's treasury now holds around 5 billion XRP, exceeding last year's average.
The latest figures come after Ripple conducted its regular escrow release on April 1, unlocking 1 billion XRP. This move is part of the company's ongoing efforts to maintain transparency and provide liquidity to the market.
Since 2018, Ripple has been locking and releasing XRP from escrow accounts in a controlled manner. The most recent release consisted of two transactions, each carrying 500 million XRP.
