CZ: Crypto Market Weakness Blamed on Multiple Factors

Binance founder Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao has offered his take on why the crypto market is experiencing its weak 2026. According to CZ, there's no single cause behind Bitcoin's sharp yearly decline.

CZ pointed to capital moving into AI, global tension, and the four-year cycle as possible reasons for the downturn. He said that new industries like AI are taking some 'hot money' away from crypto, but framed this movement as a temporary capital rotation, not a long-term rejection of digital assets.

CZ remains bullish on the long term, saying demand for financial technology should keep growing across crypto markets. He noted that blockchain could become part of daily life within five years and argued that countries that fail to adopt it may face economic disadvantages.
