Canaan Inc. Achieves Record-High Cryptocurrency Holdings

Canaan Inc., a leading technology company in the field of ASIC high-performance computing chip design, has released its April 2026 bitcoin mining update. The report highlights significant growth and milestones achieved by the company in the past month.

According to the update, Canaan's cryptocurrency holdings have reached an all-time high of 1,826 BTC and 3,952 ETH. This achievement is attributed to the company's self-mining operations, which delivered 90 BTC during April, as well as customer payments that added an additional 3 BTC.

The installed hashrate of Canaan's non-joint venture (JV) operations stood at 10.97 EH/s, representing a year-over-year growth of 34.6%. The company's joint venture operations also contributed to the overall performance, producing approximately 48 BTC during the month.
