Bybit Named in Inaugural Fortune Crypto 100 as Digital Assets Gain Mainstream Recognition
Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and platform, has been named in the inaugural Fortune Crypto 100. The recognition places Bybit in its CeFi category, which covers crypto-focused businesses such as exchanges, lenders, and custodians involved in trading, custody, and the movement of digital assets.
The list combines crypto-native groups and established financial institutions, underscoring the growing role of digital assets in global finance and blockchain-based market infrastructure. Bybit's inclusion reflects its expansion beyond cryptocurrency exchange services, with a focus on developing a platform that combines digital assets, traditional finance, payments, tokenized investments, artificial intelligence tools, and Web3 services.
Bybit has recently introduced several new products, including tokenized asset offerings, the launch of Bybit IPO Express, broader access to tokenized equities through xStocks, and AI-based trading and research tools. The company now serves more than 80 million users worldwide and is working to expand its regulated footprint in several markets.
Ben Zhou, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bybit, noted that the recognition reflects the trust users place in the platform, as well as the progress the industry has made over the years. He emphasized that digital assets are becoming more embedded in the wider financial system, and that regulation and infrastructure will be critical to their continued growth.
